Legendary Kevin Johnson live on stage

Kevin Johnson, legendary Australian singer/song writer on stage Friday 27 March up-stairs at Casino Canberra.

Kevin’s biggest hit is "Rock and Roll I Gave You the Best Years of My Life", which peaked at No. 4 on the Australian Kent Music Report Singles Chart in 1973. He also had a top 20 hit with "Bonnie Please Don't Go" (aka "She's Leavin'") in 1971. Other hit songs include "Kedron Brook"and "Man of the 20th Century". "Rock and Roll" is one of the most covered songs written by an Australian with 27 different artists recording it. Kevin has not been to Canberra for a long time and there is one show only so it will book out quickly.

He plays the main themes but also some exhilarating improvised solos.     Ken Nosworthy on drums. We are currently recruiting for casual and full time Games Dealers. As a games dealer you will be responsible for the highest standards of customer service, ensuring your actions are in accordance with Rules and Regulations as approved by the ACT Gambling and Racing Commission and Casino Canberra’ Policies and Procedures.

Successful candidates MUST have:

Minimum 12 months prior experience as a Table Games Dealer with skills in at least 2 major games (essential);

Available to work a rotating roster including days, nights and weekends;

Exceptional grooming and presentation;

Excellent communication skills;

A proven commitment to customer service and team work.

Your casino experience will be verified and a table test to assess your skills will be conducted. SURVEILLANCE OPERATOR

Casino Canberra has a vacancy for a casual Surveillance Operator.  The position involves maintaining surveillance over gaming tables and other areas of the casino primarily via closed circuit television equipment. Previous experience in either Gaming and/or Surveillance would be an advantage.  Surveillance Operators detect, record and report illegal as well as unusual activity.
